After a very exciting Latte Art Final, Australia won their 4th consecutive World Latte Art Championship. This years representative, Con Haralambopoulos, had only ½ a point more than the Russian competitor, Kira Malchenko.

The final results was:

1. Con Haralambopoulos, Australia (46 points)
2. Mira Malchenko, Russia (45½ points)
3. Akihiro Okada, Japan (44 points)
4. Carl Sara, New Zealand (44 points)
5. Georg Brany, Austria (41 points)
6. Jae Hyuek An, Korea (40 points)

In the Latte Art competition two competitors will compete at the same time.

Their task is to serve 6 drinks in 8 minutes:

2 cappuccinos. They must be identical and only consist of milk and coffee. The only tools allowed are the espresso machine and mugs. Cups inner surface must not exceed 90 mm. 
2 macchiatos. They must be identical and only consist of milk and coffee. The only tools allowed are the espresso machine and mugs. Cups inner surface must not exceed 60 mm.
2 Designer Beverages. They must be identical and any tools and ingredient for decorating the surface is allowed.

The competitors designs has to be announced in advance. To do this they have to hand in a picture before the competition starts.

The competitors are judged by 4 judges. 2 judges will evaluate the taste of the beverages. The other 2 will be judging the artistic impression. The competitors will receive a score from 1 to 10 from each judge.
