In the Latte Art competition two competitors will compete at the same time. Their task is to serve 6 drinks in 8 minutes: | - | 2 cappuccinos. They must be identical and only consist of milk and coffee. The only tools allowed are the espresso machine and mugs. Cups inner surface must not exceed 90 mm. | | - | 2 macchiatos. They must be identical and only consist of milk and coffee. The only tools allowed are the espresso machine and mugs. Cups inner surface must not exceed 60 mm. | | - | 2 Designer Beverages. They must be identical and any tools and ingredient for decorating the surface is allowed. |
The competitors designs has to be announced in advance. To do this they have to hand in a picture before the competition starts. The competitors are judged by 4 judges. 2 judges will evaluate the taste of the beverages. The other 2 will be judging the artistic impression.
